Gatti & Deepti a very sweet Indian couple working earlier in the USA and now in London arrived today on a Domestic flight from Bhubaneshwar in Orissa.
The flight was late by over an hour, so they arrived at 1AM in the morning. It was so interesting to know how they met and got married - one from Orissa and the girl from Andhra Pradesh.
Told us about the jobs/recession situation in the USA and the working life of UK.
Both are working with renowned US Banks branch offices in London.
After breakfast they left for London.
Another American girl landed without reservation. While waiting for the room after discussing the tarriff - we offered her breakfast at 1245 in the early afternoon.
She informed how her Air China flight coming from China also got delayed. There was a thundershower in the night so the flight could not land therefore was diverted off to Chandigarh for re-fuelling.
After breakfast she compared the price in Dollars exchange rate and suddenly said the cost was too much for her stay and could not afford. Since she wanted to go to another place to stay, less expensive - without hesitation we offered her to go with all other possible assistance!!
